Martin Scorsese, renowned film director, screenwriter, producer and actor, is curating the Paradiso Outdoor Cinema at this year's Port Eliot Festival (21 - 24 July). Amongst his selection of film classics is Joseph L. Mankiewicz's All About Eve from 1950, starring Bette Davis, Anne Baxter and George Sanders.

Heather Stewart, Creative Director of the BFI, which helped programme the films, said: 'It's the BFI's mission that archived film is seen by new and broad audiences so we're delighted to be working with Port Eliot Festival to expand the selection of classic and unexpected archive films into their wonderful programme of arts and nature events. The interaction of these forms and the mix in such an inspiring setting will be a great experience for the festival goers and artists alike.'

All About Eve will be shown in a double-bill paired with Powell & Pressburger's musical classic The Red Shoes (1948)
